Foods high in prana are generally those that are fresh, local and in-season. Here in the Azores we have the fortune of having an abundance of fresh, local ingredients.

There is so much information out there on what to eat and what not to eat. Ancient Indian texts teach us to eat food high in prana, or life energy. Foods high in prana are generally those that are fresh, local and in-season. Here in the Azores we have the fortune of having an abundance of fresh, local ingredients. In this workshop we’ll combine our yoga practice with a cooking class of nourishing and high pranic foods made from local Azorean ingredients. 

Did you know the Azores were part of the Indian spice trade route? Did you know that minuvida is named after Rimi’s Indian aunt Minu?

Existe tanta informação sobre o que comer e o que não comer. Os antigos textos indianos ensinam-nos a comer alimentos ricos em prana, ou energia vital. Alimentos ricos em prana geralmente são frescos, locais e da época. Aqui nos Açores, temos a sorte de ter uma abundância de ingredientes locais e frescos. Neste workshop, combinamos nossa prática de yoga com uma aula de culinária de alimentos nutritivos e de alta prana feitos com ingredientes Açorianos.
